Asians in American say they have been the subjects of racially-motivated attacks since the outbreak of COVID-19.
Wearing masks is normal in Asian culture, but made them stand out in America, where incidents were reported in across the country.
In normally peaceful State College, Joanna Kuo, Celeste Wang , Alicia Chiang and Skye Chang all said they felt uncomfortable and singled out because of the masks they wear, although none of them were physically assaulted.
Asians have stood out less since April 18, when Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf decreed that everyone in the state must have a mask in public.
