Relay for life is a fundraising event for cancer research where teams walk around a track and camp out over a twenty-four hour period. During the event there are performances, guest speakers, a luminaria ceremony, where candles are lit for those who have lost and those who are still fighting.Allie Leidy, Mission Overall of Relay for Life 2014, is in charge of this events as well as the fight back ceremony, where Jay Paterno came and spoke to those in attendance.
