John Patterson and Scott Edwards found themselves spending nights and weekends attending karaoke contests after their days working at Grasshopper Lawn Company. Eventually, they began to participate and enjoyed the experience and fulfillment it added to their everyday lives. Apparently, their friends and other DJ's had noticed too. Others had instantly pictured them as a dynamic duo, ready to take on the task of entertaining the late night crowds. But, Patterson and Edwards noticed something in their experiences. It was then they noticed that sometimes when they were out, the DJ's hosting the events weren't full of personality. Often times, the DJ's were showing their bad moods or lack of personality behind the music. Half- heartedly, they knew they could do it differently if ever given the chance.

About a month later, they were given that opportunity.  Their day-time job, was hosting a work party for all of their employees. The DJ their boss had hired had canceled and they found themselves scrambling for something else. "We thought about it, and then told our boss "You know what? Don't hire anyone else. WE will take care of it,"Edwards said.

Eight years later Patterson and Edwards found themselves at bars, wedding receptions, and birthday parties around the Northeastern Pennsylvania Area. They had found themselves a method that made them stand out among the other entertainers in the area. "What makes us stand out from everyone is the amount of personality and interaction we have with the crowd," Patterson said.

They begin each party by a "hoola-hoop" game where they have all volunteers hold hands in a circle. Then they pass the hoola-hoop around their bodies to the music until it stops. Yes, like you thought, similar to the game of hot potato. They also created their own version of interactive limbo and quiz games to involve the crowd. When they are Djing in the bars, you'll find them playing the guitar, singing duets with the bartenders, and starting air guitar contests with two ambitious drinking participants.

Though, they have many experiences to remember, Patterson and Edwards values the friendships they made through the journey. There are many people they have encountered along the way that both had built meaningful friendships with, who they would have never met without this experience.
