Alissa Bradley is an artist who discovered her love for poetry after taking a class with a teacher she did not like. After receiving an A on an assignment her fellow peers failed, she gained confidence in her craft and continued to write. In this video, Alissa performs her poem titled “Monster” which took her a month to write and two months to edit. She recently has begun to perform her poetry and is also passionate in painting.
When creating art, whether she is painting or writing, Bradley draws from personal experience and seeks her reflection in the art she creates.
