In team sports, having a bond between your teammates is almost as necessary as the skills you need to play the game. The Penn State Men’s Volleyball team, shown above through the eyes of team captain Matt Seifert, likes to uphold their program’s favorite annual bonding tradition: hiking Mount Nittany. The tradition consists of a hike with an upperclassmen headstart, a singing performance and skit by the freshmen of the team, and a team dinner at West Commons on campus.
