Wesley Wang, who is a junior in Penn State from HongKong, started playing piano at a young age. Both of his parents playing classic music and influenced him a lot. Wang's mother found his interest when he tapping his fingers on the table to mimic his parents playing piano. Yet, for a six-year-old kid, practices makes piano less cool and his parents stopped him when they saw he played by his toes.
However, he like music so much that he started again couple years later. This time, it was the public exams keep music away from him. Now, he finally found a way to keep balance of his busy school work and his music interest by taking piano classes in Penn State.
Surprisingly, Wong never thought about to take his interest as a career. He explains that both his parents and himself don't think it will be a stable job in the future. "Maybe it's because I am asian," he joked.
