A Penn State University student majoring in printmaking, Victoria “Llanakila” Brown stands out amongst others. Brown refers her artistic self as “Llanakila”, Hawaiian for victory. Llanakila is a visual artist, who has no boundaries when it comes to creating her masterpiece canvas.

Using bold and bright color and sometimes black and white to express her artwork. Llanakila likes to create art that relates to her life and emotions. In many of her artistic pieces she draws, print, and paint powerful objects along with visionary lines. Included in the video are some of her pieces relating to the mind, dreams, and the universe.

As an artist, Llanakila likes to create her pieces when she is inspired. For her final project, she is inspired by her willingness to disconnect herself from the online world by refusing to use her cellphone. Llanakila expressed in the video that she would notice more of what’s in the sky versus looking down at her cellphone.

Sharing her creative pieces with not only friends and family, but also everyone including celebrities. For the many artists that have graced the stages at Penn State she has made them a canvas of her work.
