Wild About Animals was held on Saturday, March 26; and this was the 17th annual animal expo organized by Centre Wildlife Care or “CWC.” in association with Small and Exotic Animal Club “SEAC.” Veterinarians, rescue groups, and other animal-related organizations sponsor this outreach and fundraising event. It’s a family friendly event with face painting, balloons, carnival games, crafts and even pony rides. 2,000-3,000 people showed up last year, and they raised roughly $20,000. Executive Director and Founder of CWC, Robyn, expects about the same if not more this year.
